Every time I attend a wedding ceremony, the initial charge always gets me thinking. Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God, and in the face of this company, to join together this Man and this Woman in holy Matrimony; which is an honorable estate...... and is commended of Saint Paul to be honorable among all men: and therefore is not by any to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly; but reverently, discreetly, advisedly, soberly, and in the fear of God. Yep! It is not a joke and definitely not for the immature. The intention is to build a marriage that will go the distance. The goal is a stable and satisfying relationship that will withstand the storms of life. My little experience has taught me that finding the right person can be one of life's greatest challenges.
